 The Me and My World project contributes to the development of key competencies and creativity through the proposed activities:

- communication skills in the mother tongue and in English. There were meetings in the international team, the publication of the materials was done in English, the children worked in a team, learning to listen, to argue, to select information, to listen to each other, to support each other.
- digital skills by accessing the twinspace platform and specific applications;
- competence to learn to learn. Students were placed in different learning contexts, studied, documented, presented information, learned new things and consolidated information from the program (map activities, map scale calculation, indication of oceans and continents, Earth's shells, objectives tourism etc);
- competences in the field of mathematics, science and technology. The children calculated the scale of the map using mathematical operations, documented themselves using the Internet, analyzed the connections between natural and anthropogenic components, explained different phenomena;
- cultural awareness and expression skills. Schools and teams with certain cultural features are included in the project. The students were curious and excited to meet children from other countries and to find out information about those countries.

The project contributes to the development of creativity, critical thinking, gives children courage and helps them in the classroom activity, but also in personal development.
I am a geography teacher, and the fact that the project is about Geography, helps us a lot in fixing and recapitulating the knowledge from the curriculum, but also anticipates information that students will study in the future.
